The vision of DeviceXS
DeviceXS's vision is a world of connected & smart assets & devices. The company's ambition was to build a generic IoT (“internet of things”) platform for businesses that need to manage & collect data streams from smart assets. The business value of the platform comes from the fact that it is flexible enough to handle most important IoT integration scenarios while doing most of the heavy lifting expected from a scalable custom IoT solution.
The work of BusyMachines
The technical challenges of the platform consist in its requirement to manage & communicate with a wide variety of smart devices ranging from simple sensors to complex systems (ie. vending machines, printers etc).

The BusyMachines team handled these challenges by implementing a generic core system that can handle dynamic asset models, events & readings. The end users use a responsive web portal with reusable widgets that can be composed into dashboards. We designed and automated the entire cloud production infrastructure.
